Vendor Application

LOCATION

TEXAS MEDIEVAL MERRIMENT FESTIVAL AT WALKER COUNTY FAIR GROUNDS


FESTIVAL ENTRANCE:(at the  Highway 1791 Gate)

270 FM 1791, Huntsville TX 77340.... MAP

(Just 1 mile south of Highway 30 )

Ticket. booth and parking lot  entrance.

 


SITE LOGISTICS…

Vendor spaces are 10ft X 10ft and 10ft x 20ft. Some exceptions are allowed. Location on the grounds will be assigned/approved by Texas Merriment Festival Management.


This should be a packed event! It is, therefore, extremely important that your booth fit the area you paid for....Your tent poles, stakes, trailer hitches, tongues, etc.

NO EXCEPTIONS! 


ONCE SET UP, BOOTHS MAY NOT BREAK DOWN UNTIL THE END OF THAT DAY'S POSTED RETAIL HOURS..


 4-6  three-day Passes  will be provided per vendor at check-in. Additional IDs may be purchased.   All workers must have an ID/Armband or pay daily admission fees.

Resserve Vendor / volunteer parking lot is neear the eastern woods, near the CAMP SITES.


Security will be provided. 

There may be an overnight parking fee. (TBD)

We've Got Water!

THERE IS PIPED WATER at 102 booths!


Vendors must only provide appropriate containers for their water needs and follow all health code regulations when handling produce and prepared foods.  





"POOP Provisions"

Porta-Potties will be provided  

They will be serviced daily.


PLUG N' PLAY!

Electriciity is provided for 102  booths on a 1st come, 21st serve basis..


 Only heavy duty grounded plugs are allowed.  There will be 4 booths sharing each power & water station.


 Please identify your cord by marking or tagging it at the male end of the plug.

BOOTH SETUP

  • Booth Setup parking pass(s) will be issued to each vendor at check-in. 


  • Vendors must supply their own equipment (examples: tent, chairs, tables, etc.). Vendor booth must be manned for the entire daytime festival hours.


  • ALL TENTS MUST BE WEIGHTED DOWN OR ANCHORED!! Tents must be weighted down or anchored. This is a SAFETY issue. You may not tie your tent to another vendor… this is not safe. Stakes are allowed but should only penetrate the raw earth, not any ground cover or walkway.

GARBAGE & Cleanup...

Vendors are responsible for cleaning up their space after the festival closes including removal of garbage, and sweeping up all debris. Vendors whose products generate food waste must provide covered trash containers for customer use and remove trash / trash bags  from the grounds when they leave. 


There will be a $50 fee assessed to vendors who leave  trash at their site.  


CONSUMABLES...

  • All food and food products offered for sale shall be from sources approved or considered satisfactory by the Walker County Health Department. 


  • Vendors will be allowed to sell non-alcoholic drinks without a special permit: carbonated beverages, lemonade, tea, energy drinks and bottled water. However, nothing may be sold in glass containers. Vendors may set their own price points and size for these drinks.


  • All food and various products offered for sale at the Festival must be made by the vendor, or by the person(s) listed on the vendor application. .


  • A city /mcounty health permit may be required. (More on this later.)

SECURITY.

The Festival will provide onsite security, however, neither the property owner or TMMF is responsible for your booth or its contents


  • Vendor participation indemnifies and confirms that Texas Medieval, Walker County Fair Grounds, Rosenwald Acres owners, festival management participants, and other vendors do not assume responsibility for accidents, theft, or loss to any person, resulting from, or in anyway connected to, the conditions of use of the premises, by any means of ingress there, too, or egress there from.


  • Decorative and primitive weapons are allowed as part of costuming, but all such weapons must remain sheathed . 


  •  MILITARY GUNS AND/OR ASSAULT WEAPONS ARE PROHIBITED.

PHOTOGRAPHY.

  • Commercial photography and filming activities are conducted at  Texas Medieval Events. You may appear in the resulting pictures or films that may be used in connection with advertising news, reporting entertainment or other activities. 


  • Entry into the festival grounds and/or purchase of your admission ticket/vendor booth, etc., constitutes your consent for Texas Medieval and/or our facility hosts to use the pictures and films without payment.
